founded by Dr. Wolf Funfack and originated in 2002 in Isen nearby
Munich/Germany. Today, metabolic balance® has become a global company
which is present in more than 35 countries. More than half a million
people practice the program worldwide. Metabolic Balance, Inc. was
etablished in 2010 to bring the program to the U.S., and is
headquartered in San Diego. Our team's purpose is to bring long term
optimized wellness, ideal weight and physical harmony to all our clients. 
Peggy Fleming, CEO
As Chief Executive Officer of metabolic balance®, Inc. Peggy supervises business development, quality assurance and organizational directives. Her extensive history of building and restructuring businesses as well as developing and analyzing consumer organizations assures that metabolic balance® delivers a valuable and meaningful experience to its clients, partners and coaching staff.
Leonard Tuccelli - Director of Sales and Marketing
As Director of Sales and Marketing, he oversees and promotes objectives that increase the awareness and market-share of metabolic balance®. With two decades of experience leading sales and marketing initiatives, Leonard's core talents are focused on developing strategic partnerships to distribute effectively the metabolic balance® all-natural method of optimized health and wellness to the U.S. Market and beyond.
Birgit Funfack - Chairman of the Board
For more than 20 years Birgit Funfack has been active in the healthcare industry as a lecturer and natural healer. Her expertise includes Neuro Linguistic Programming, Psychokinesiology and Systemics. Since the day she started her academic career the topics of obesity and healthy nutrition have been of profound interest to her. She teamed up with Dr. Funfack and Mrs. Bürkle and founded the Metabolic Balance GmbH & Co. KG . Since 2002 she has led Metabolic Balance GmbH &Co. KG as its managing director.
Franziska Wintergerst – Advisor International Market Development Franziska is member of the leading management team of Metabolic Balance GmbH & Co. KG in Germany. She has extensive experience in international market development, backed by her vast experience in global business. Franziska provides the link between Metabolic Balance, Inc. and the mother company Metabolic Balance GmbH &Co. KG in Isen.
She ensures that best practice principles are transferred to the United States in order to make metabolic balance as successful, unique and valuable in the U.S. as it is in Germany already.
Sylvia Egel – Director Coaching & Education
Sylvia devoted her entire professional career to health and wellness – as academic advisor and coach for metabolic balance® as well as business owner and teacher. This wealth of experience has given her great insight into the great challenges people face when adjusting to a healthier lifestyle. Her masters in education sciences from the University of Mainz/Germany allows her to pragmatically tailor the metabolic balance® plan to maximize the results and the program's value. She is fluent in German and English.
