Emma Vanlint – Metabolic Balance® Coach

I have been a certified Metabolic Balance® coach since 2009 and was privileged to be personally trained by the late Dr Wolf Funfack, the founder and visionary behind the Metabolic Balance® programme. His passion for restoring metabolic health through personalised nutrition has deeply shaped the way I practise today.

With over ​17 years of clinical experience, I specialise in helping clients achieve sustainable weight loss and metabolic balance through tailored, whole-food nutrition based on their individual blood values. My background as a registered Nutritional Therapist (ION-trained, BANT & CNHC registered) allows me to integrate functional nutrition principles with the Metabolic Balance® method to address the root causes of weight gain, hormonal disruption, low energy, and poor digestive health.

I have a particular interest in supporting women with hormonal conditions such as perimenopause, menopause, PCOS, and hypothyroidism, as well as clients struggling with metabolic syndrome, chronic inflammation, or gut-related issues. Over the years I’ve guided ​thousands of clients through the Metabolic Balance® programme—both in the UK and internationally—helping them achieve life-changing improvements in weight, wellbeing, confidence, and long-term metabolic health.

My coaching style is supportive, practical, and highly personalised. I guide clients step-by-step through the programme, offering education, structure, and accountability to help them develop habits that last. I am deeply committed to empowering people to understand their bodies, reset their metabolism, and regain their health through real food and evidence-based nutritional therapy.

The Nutritional Therapy Clinic London provides a comprehensive, functional-nutrition–based approach to health, with a strong focus on metabolic, hormonal, and digestive wellbeing. Alongside delivering the Metabolic Balance® programme since 2009, our clinic supports a wide range of health concerns, allowing us to integrate deeper clinical expertise into every client’s metabolic reset.

Our practice works extensively with hormonal conditions such as perimenopause, menopause, PCOS, hypothyroidism and adrenal imbalance, as well as metabolic issues including stubborn weight gain, insulin resistance, and chronic inflammation. We also provide specialist support for gut and microbiome health, working with concerns such as IBS, SIBO, food sensitivities, skin conditions, autoimmune issues, and chronic digestive discomfort. This broad clinical experience means we are uniquely positioned to tailor the Metabolic Balance® programme to clients with complex presentations, ensuring that nutritional strategies support both metabolic change and underlying health needs.

Because we view each client holistically, we combine the personalised structure of Metabolic Balance® with evidence-based functional nutrition, advanced testing where appropriate, and lifestyle guidance that addresses sleep, stress, movement, and long-term behavioural change. Our clinic has successfully supported thousands of clients in the UK and internationally, helping them achieve significant improvements in weight, energy, hormonal balance, digestion, and overall wellbeing.
