I am a Nutrition Therapist (mBant) specialising in menopause, perimenopause, and metabolic health, with a particular focus on why traditional weight-loss approaches so often stop working in midlife. I mostly work online but can also meet in person, if preferable.

During the menopausal transition, hormonal shifts change how the body handles blood sugar, insulin, stress, and inflammation. Many women find themselves doing “all the right things” — eating less, exercising more — yet gaining weight, feeling inflamed, exhausted, or stuck. This is not a lack of willpower; it is a change in physiology.

My work is grounded in evidence-based nutrition and metabolic science. I help you move away from patterns that push your body into stress and fat storage, and towards a nutritional approach that supports metabolic flexibility, hormonal balance, and fat-burning resilience. .

I take a structured yet compassionate approach, supporting clients with food strategies that stabilise blood sugar, reduce inflammatory load, and work with the menopausal body rather than against it. Where appropriate, I also explore individual genetic SNPs that may influence areas such as nutrient handling, detoxification, inflammation, and metabolic response, using this information to personalise recommendations.

Clients often come to me feeling frustrated, confused, or blaming themselves. My role is to replace that confusion with clarity, education, and a clear plan — so they understand why their body is responding as it is, and what needs to change to move forward.
