Information about the coach

I’m Christina Rudell (aka Birdy), a Registered Holistic Nutritionist (RHN), Natural Nutrition Clinical Practitioner (NNCP), and certified Metabolic Balance® coach based in Vancouver, Canada. I support women locally and worldwide in restoring metabolic health, balancing hormones, and creating sustainable, lasting change through personalized nutrition.

My path into this work is deeply personal. After ten years of navigating unexplained infertility, I experienced firsthand how frustrating and isolating it can feel to do “everything right” and still not have answers. It wasn’t until I began applying targeted, individualized nutrition and lifestyle strategies that I started to see real shifts in my body. These changes ultimately led to the natural conception of my son — an experience that transformed not only my health, but my purpose.

Today, that experience shapes the way I support my clients—with empathy, honesty, and a deep respect for each individual’s journey. I understand how complex and emotional health challenges can be, and I’m here to provide guidance that feels both grounded and genuinely supportive.

Information on practice

My practice is rooted in a personalized, science-based approach to nutrition, centered around the Metabolic Balance® Program—an individualized system that uses blood work and health data to create a plan tailored specifically to your body. Unlike generic diets, it works with your unique biochemistry to regulate metabolism, support hormone function, and promote long-term health.

Through Metabolic Balance®, I guide clients through a structured, supportive process that helps them reconnect with their bodies, improve energy, stabilize mood, and build a strong foundation for lasting wellness. My approach combines evidence-based protocols with a compassionate understanding of the real-life challenges women face, particularly during fertility and postpartum seasons.

In addition to metabolic health, I take a holistic view of wellbeing. I believe that our internal environment and external environment are deeply connected. Alongside nutrition coaching, I offer guidance to help clients create supportive home spaces that reduce stress, simplify routines, and reinforce healthy habits — because true balance extends beyond food alone.

With a background in education, I make complex health concepts clear and actionable. I don’t believe in rigid rules or quick fixes, but in helping you understand your body and build rhythms that support your life.
