I’m Kris Flies, a board-certified holistic nutrition practitioner who believes women deserve answers, not guesswork. My own health journey began after being diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis in my 40s, a moment that forced me to stop ignoring my body and start listening to it. Conventional advice offered symptom management, but functional nutrition gave me something far more powerful: clarity, ownership, and lasting change. That experience reshaped how I practice today. I don’t believe women are broken, lazy, or lacking willpower. I believe most have been handed incomplete information and expected to figure the rest out on their own. My work is rooted in education, accountability, and partnership. I help women understand why their bodies are responding the way they are, so they can make confident decisions instead of starting over every few months. My role is not to control or restrict, but to guide, support, and help you reconnect with your body in a way that feels grounded, sustainable, and empowering.

Information on practice

My practice focuses on helping women in midlife and beyond restore metabolic health, balance blood sugar, improve digestion, and achieve results that last. I specialize in working with women who feel stuck after years of dieting, stalled weight loss, or conflicting health advice. Using the Metabolic Balance program as a foundation, I create a highly personalized nutrition plan based on each client’s unique blood values, health history, and metabolic needs. Clients learn which foods truly work with their body, not against it, so they can stop guessing and start seeing consistent progress. The process is structured, supportive, and intentionally simple, removing overwhelm while building confidence and clarity. I don’t believe in extremes, restriction, or relying on willpower. I believe in sustainable systems that fit real lives. My clients often share that this is the first time they’ve felt educated, supported, and in control of their health, with a plan they finally trust long term.
