I’m Joanne, a Registered Nutritional Therapist & certified Metabolic Balance® Coach. I specialise in evidence-based nutritional therapy & personalised metabolic coaching designed to restore balance & vitality.
My interest in nutrition was born out of personal experience. After facing fatigue, chronic back pain, & the hormonal transitions of perimenopause, I began to explore how nutrition could support my long-term health. This journey led me to retrain at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in Brighton, where I qualified as a Nutritional Therapist, receiving the award for Clinical Aptitude.
As a Metabolic Balance® Coach, I combine scientific understanding with a compassionate coaching style. I believe that the most effective changes come from insight, not restriction, & that sustainable wellbeing begins with reconnecting to your body’s natural rhythm. I love guiding people through this unique, evidence-based programme. It’s not about restriction or willpower, it’s about understanding how your body works and giving it exactly what it needs to thrive. I see my role as your guide & cheerleader, helping you reconnect with your body & build healthy habits that last.
For me personally, following the Metabolic Balance® plan has truly transformed my life & how my body feels and functions with lipoedema. My renewed energy & stamina is helping me to improve my body composition. I no longer suffer from migraines, joint pain or excessive reactions to insect bites. I feel confident & vibrant again after years of feeling low & frustrated.

- Initial assessment & blood analysis: We begin with a detailed conversation about your health history, current biomarkers, lifestyle, food preferences and goals. A lab blood test is arranged to map key metabolic and nutrient markers, laying the foundation for your individual plan.
- Personalised nutrition plan: Based on the blood results plus your medical history, we create a tailored food plan built around nourishing, whole foods (no gimmicks, no fads, no calorie-counting) that supports your metabolism, hormonal balance, digestion and energy.
- Four-phase implementation: We move through the phases of the Metabolic Balance® programme:
- Phase 1 (Preparation): A short period of gentle meals that primes your body for change.
- Phase 2 (Focused phase): You follow your personal food list and meal structure to support metabolic re-calibration and shift old patterns.
- Phase 3 (Relaxed Adjustment): We gradually expand your food list, introduce flexibility, help you identify which foods serve or hinder you.
- Phase 4 (Thriving & living your life): Your Metabolic Balance® plan has become your lifestyle, part of your normal life, enabling you to thrive.
Ongoing coaching support: I’m with you throughout the programme, offering regular check-ins, adapting the plan if needed and equipping you with the tools and confidence to live this way after the structured phases.
Sustainable results: The aim is more than short-term weight change. We’re working toward improved energy, better hormone and digestion balance, clearer skin, improved sleep, fewer cravings and a healthier relationship with food.
