If you’re looking for a personalised way to improve your health, your energy, and your relationship with food, chances are you’ve already tried a lot. You’ve counted, restricted, pushed harder, and done everything the “rules” said you should do. Yet the results never matched the effort. At some point, it stops feeling like a motivation problem and starts feeling like your body is speaking a language you no longer understand.
That’s usually when people find Metabolic Balance — not as a quick fix, but as a structured, personalised approach grounded in their own blood chemistry. And that’s where my work comes in.
I have a background that brings something different to this programme: 20+ years in public health and epidemiology, paired with advanced training in functional medicine and nutritional therapy. My work focuses on supporting men and women who want clarity, structure, and evidence-informed guidance to help them feel at their best again.
My approach integrates Metabolic Balance with functional nutrition and lifestyle support. Instead of following a plan in isolation, we look at the patterns that shape your health — how you eat, sleep, move, recover, and respond to stress — and use this information alongside your personalised food plan to help you build a way of eating that actually works for your body.
Qualifications include:
• BSc (Hons) Biomedical Sciences
• MSc Modern Epidemiology
• Master of Public Health (MPH)
• Graduate Diploma in Integrative & Functional Nutrition
• Certified Metabolic Balance Coach
• Seven Institute for Functional Medicine certificates, covering gastrointestinal, hormone, immune, cardiometabolic, and energy systems
Clients often tell me they come to this work because they want a structured, personalised approach backed by real science — not another “one-size-fits-all” solution. If that’s what you’re seeking, I’d be glad to guide you through the process with clarity, accountability, and a focus on long-term wellbeing.

The Thrive Practice is an online functional health consultancy offering personalised, evidence-informed programmes for women who want to improve metabolic health, energy, weight rhythms, and overall wellbeing. Metabolic Balance is one of the structured tools we use to help clients find a more balanced, sustainable way of eating that matches their biology rather than working against it.
What is Metabolic Balance®?
It’s a personalised 12-week nutrition programme built around detailed blood testing. Your results are used to design a food plan tailored to your unique biochemistry — with clear guidance on what to eat, how to structure meals, and how to support more stable metabolic patterns. The programme follows four phases, beginning with a gentle preparation period and moving towards long-term, flexible maintenance.
How we work at The Thrive Practice:
I combine your Metabolic Balance plan with functional nutrition and lifestyle coaching so you understand the “why” behind each phase. This integrated approach makes it easier to build habits that support your metabolism, hormones, and energy long after the structured programme ends.
Your 12-week package includes:
• 60-minute initial consultation
• Comprehensive health and lifestyle assessment
• Full blood testing and phlebotomy
• Personalised Metabolic Balance food plan
• Four follow-up coaching sessions
• Messaging support between appointments
• Practical guidance for meals, shopping and more
Who this approach is suited for:
Men and women who want a personalised, structured plan to support healthier weight rhythms, better energy, and stronger health markers — with clear guidance and a science-led approach.
My consultancy is fully online, with flexible appointments and a supportive, confidential environment. If you’re looking for a personalised programme grounded in your own data — and guidance to help you put it into practice — Metabolic Balance could be a strong fit.
