I’m Anna, the founder of Lively Shift and a naturopath specialising in gut health, hormonal balance and metabolic repair. My work is deeply influenced by my personal experience living with Type 1 diabetes, which gives me a unique and practical understanding of blood-sugar regulation, hormone interactions and metabolic resilience.

For over a decade I have supported women who feel burnt out, inflamed, hormonally imbalanced or stuck in cycles of dieting without results. I combine clinical training in naturopathy, functional genomics, detoxification and metabolic science with a grounded, evidence-based approach to restoring health.

Having navigated my own health journey — managing insulin, overcoming fatigue, and rebuilding gut and hormonal stability — I bring both compassion and clarity to my work. I understand the frustration of doing “all the right things” and still feeling exhausted or out of sync. This fuels my commitment to helping my clients regain control of their metabolism, energy and long-term wellbeing.

My coaching style is calm, structured and highly personalised. I don’t believe in generic diets, quick fixes or rigid restrictions. Instead, I focus on what creates true metabolic change: personalised nutrition, gut repair, nervous-system support, hormone balance and sustainable habits.

Lively Shift is a functional naturopathic practice dedicated to helping people create long-term transformation in their metabolism, digestion and hormonal health. Our approach is built on the belief that real, sustainable change happens when we work with your biology — not against it.

At Lively Shift, we specialise in the three systems that shape metabolic health:

Our framework examines nutrient deficiencies, detox pathways, sleep quality, stress load and metabolic signalling to restore natural energy, reduce cravings and stabilise blood sugar.
