My name is Sara Knight, a naturopath, nutritionist and health coach based in Lake Macquarie, NSW. I support women in midlife who are seeking to feel strong, energised and at ease in their bodies again—without extreme dieting, overwhelm, or one-size-fits-all advice. My work is rooted in the belief that when we understand how our body works, we can nourish and support it with clarity and confidence.
I see food as one of our most powerful tools for healing—not through restriction, but through nourishment, balance and rhythm. The Strong & Lean program helps clients stabilise blood sugar, reduce inflammation, re-establish metabolic flexibility and learn how to eat in a way that feels both supportive and sustainable. The Midlife Reset goes a layer deeper, incorporating advanced functional testing, stress physiology, gut and microbiome support, and ongoing coaching to help women rebuild vitality and confidence as they move through perimenopause and postmenopause.
In my clinic, the relationship between practitioner and client is collaborative. I don’t ask clients to follow instructions without understanding the purpose behind them. Instead, we explore the role of food, stress, sleep, movement and mindset in shaping their health. I offer education, structure, encouragement and accountability—while supporting clients to step into self-trust and long-term self-leadership.
My priority is not just helping clients achieve results in the short term, but ensuring they feel equipped to maintain those results for life. Many clients describe our work together as the first time they have truly understood their body. That understanding changes everything.
Health is not about perfection—it is about consistency, curiosity and care. My philosophy is simple: when we slow down, listen, and respond to what the body is asking for, healing becomes not only possible, but inevitable.

My practice philosophy centres on personalisation. No two bodies, histories, lifestyles or stress loads are the same, so no two nutrition plans should be either. Years of clinical experience have shown me that true and lasting change comes from working with the individual—their physiology, habits, preferences, emotional patterns and environment. Metabolic Balance provides a structured and scientifically grounded framework that supports this personalised approach, and it has become a core foundation of my Strong & Lean and Midlife Reset programs.
I specialise in the intersection of gut health, metabolic health and stress. Many of my clients come to me feeling frustrated: they are “doing everything right,” yet they feel tired, inflamed, or unable to maintain a healthy weight. Others are experiencing digestive discomfort, hormonal changes, disrupted sleep, or a sense of being disconnected from their bodies after years of putting others first. My work is to help them understand why these symptoms are occurring and what their body needs now.
