Hi, I’m Karen Sturgeon, NTP. I help anyone over 40, battling the warning signs of metabolic syndrome — high blood sugar, high blood pressure, stubborn belly fat, and low energy — even though they’re trying to eat healthy.
I experienced the same struggle myself, watching my weight creep up eventhought I was eating"healthy". Seeking answers, I became a Nutritional Therapy Practioner and later, a certified Metabolic Balance® Coach.
Using your own blood values, your medical history and goals, I create a personalized nutrition plan — no shots, no pills, no powders, bars or shakes. Just the right foods, in the right amounts, at the right times, gently guiding your metabolism back into balance.
When your Metabolism is working effeciently you give your body a chance to heal. This results in a lower blood sugar, reduce inflammation, increased energy, better digestion and a release of the dangerous belly fat, naturally.

With a full nutritional assessment, medical history, family background and a 3 day food and mood I can give a nutritrional evaluation and specific areas where you may need support.
After a goal setting consultation, I order blood work setting into motion a personalized nutrition plan based on your blood values, medical history and goals.
For 12 weeks I guide you through the Metabolic Balance program with weekly check-ins and a bi-weekly Zoom meetings to evaluate your progress and make adjustments.
The program has 4 phases and we move through those four phases as you progress and your goals are achieved.
